Salomon Psychic One Piece W

PART I:
For all that are interested in something different like a one piece ski suit, I made some pictures of the Salomon Psychic One Piece W ski suit that I bought some 3 weeks ago. I ordered it through my sport shop in Switzerland directly at the Salomon retailer in Switzerland.
Its fully insulated and made to a very high standard with a lot of functional details. Its a loose fit one piece suit with a hipster look. The Belt is not level its has an angle. It kept my quite warm wearing only a ODLO first layer and a thin fleece ski shirt.

Why did I buy it? I saw it in a ski magazine and fell in love for it! :becky::becky::becky:

Wide Hip Belt, two zippered hip pockets. Suit is closed by a zipper, velcros and press studs.
The graphics are embroidered in a very high quality.

Back graphics are also embroidered.
Two zippered back pockets positioned very low.

Front view with included matching neckerchief.

Sleeve with inside gaiter.

Sleeve end with velcro.
Details of neckerchief can also be seen.

Detailed picture of the side graphics.

Zippered ventilation openings on the inside leg. This future is very much needed as if you enter a warm room or drive in the car you get hot in no time.
On the right leg is a low positioned zippered pocket.

.... to be continued!:D

Part II

Legs with inside gaiters and variable leg width with press studs.
psychiconepiecew3.jpg

Two zippered breast pockets, one zippered pocket on left sleeve, two zippered ventilation openings. The collar closes very tight and is very comfortable.
psychiconepiecew4.jpg

Zippered ventilation opening .... very useful! The small red dolly is what Salomon calls the dialing aid. It has a bump on the head and with that you can dial numbers on your mobile without taking off our gloves/mittens. The hood can be adjusted.
psychiconepiecew5.jpg

Even the inside print is very nicely made. The collar has this grey, very comfortable fabric inside.
psychiconepiecew6.jpg

The fake fur trim on the hood is fastened by press-studs. With longer hair the fake fur trim does 'ruin' your hairdo. Over the zippered right breast pocket is the Salomon embroidered. This pocket contains a goggle wiper.
psychiconepiecew7.jpg

Left inside pocket (zippered) for mobile phone and IPod/headset. Loops for the cable to the earphones.
psychiconepiecew8.jpg

Right inside pockets. The upper one is zippered and for money/keys other valuables. The lower one is closed by two press-studs and is the goggle pocket. Its can also be reached from the outside by a zipper. A very nice future too.

WOW!!
What a great piece of ski jumpsuit!!
Beautiful color and I love all the details.
I need to look it up at Salomon web site.
I love to try one on. Maybe one of the ski shops in my area carries it.
It may be too warm for Tahoe skiing but I still want to try on at least.
Thanks for sharing!!

I've been talking about getting a one-piece for a while, they seem like they would be totally comfortable, expecially skiing pow. There's like, ONE person in Bend who's got a new one, all the other ones are vintage, and we punch eachother when we see them, like slug-bug. But, I want one even more now! Thanks for sharing!

I was looking for a only store for the suit .... only zappos.com hat one in size L ..... in Switzerland where I live (Zurich) one shop had one in size M or S .... can't remember ...

I have also the Temptress W jacket and pants that have nearly the same features and are made to the same standard. I specially like all the different pockets. No need to fill the two bellypockets and then look like a hyppo!!!! :becky:

I reallllly like that!!! I don't know if I could do a one piece b/c I am short, but I would do the jacket alone. Love the graphics, love the colour, love the fur on the hood! And so many little compartments; too cute!

That's a great suit.

I wear a one piece Killy suit that I bought online. The thought came from my partner who is determined not to get snow in clothing. A a novice I followed his advice and purchased my suit to go to Japan. I feel the cold and it is really warm BUT it is boring BLACK with an elastic waist and belt over - waist waist not hipster. So uncool my daughter tells me.

She purchased a onesy 18 months ago and she gets compliments all the time - granted she has a better figure than I but it is a great cut - it's a Roxy. It is a shell though and she can tend to get cold.

Here's a pic of us both in our oneseys!

I spotted a SOS one piece but it's retail here in Australia was $980 - 2 seasons ago. It was maroon/paisley print - I loved it but haven't been able to track it down since. So if anyone comes across it - please let me know!
