Salomon Diadem Helmet (or similar) - cleaning?

I just purchased a Salomon Diadem on extra-discount clearance. It's one that is very clearly the one they had out on the shelf for people to look at and try on, but it was the only one of this model in my size, and it was the best fit I'd found, so I snapped it up. Since it's one that everyone and their sister has had their head in, I'd kind of like to give it a cleaning.

At any rate, the inside liner is a suede-feel material, and it seems to be removable, as are the furry ear pads. However, the manual didn't give any specs on cleaning that I could find. It says it's washable, but does that really mean toss it in the washer at any temp? Should I hand wash them in delicate detergent? I'd just hate to ruin the liner first thing!

Remove the liner and ear pieces and hand wash, air dry. Spray the inside of the helmet with lysol to make sure you get everything.
