Well, joyfully my sister started skiing again! Yay! Wow has my niece been an inspiration this year!

My sister and her boyfriend went skiing on sunday with their old skis at the ready. Although she fell a few times, I think she still had the hang of it. I'm really excited that my family and friends are getting back to it... you never realize how much you miss it, do you!

Anyway, so tonight she was supposed to take my niece <her daughter> skiing... but alas, it's raining. I think we're pretty much at the end of our season, even with the huge dump we got last weekend. The weather has been mild and sunny for the last few days, and it's only getting warmer this coming week with highs in the mid-50's and rain.

It was a sad day.:( .. I was going to go watch them ski and join my mother in the lodge for dinner <I'm still pretty sick> but that didn't happen!

I hope you ladies are fairing better and have better weather <most would think it's weird to say that mid temps are bad> !

I'm sorry your weather is bad, and your season is close to over. :(

Come to Colorado! It's dumping in the Mountains here! :snow: :snow: :snow:

Ah yes, I remember it well: end of the line, mid-March in the Midwest...
The only consolation that I usually had at that time of year was the approach of school spring break, time to head west. (was always the week before Easter, so it varied quite a bit as to date)
Well, you had a good season, got your niece "on board," had a late season storm to enjoy....
and...
YOU FOUND THIS FORUM
Hope you're feeling better soon!!

Come North - 4-6" of snow by tomorrow night at Tremblant. They are even thinking about extending the season because there is so much snow!
