On SAC right now, Marmot ATV softshell for $48.99. Yes, it's very simple - but I LOVE this jacket! This is what converted me to skiing in softshells last season, and that's even with night skiing in the snow! I would wear this and a midweight base layer, that's it. No pit zips or fancy doo-dads, but it does the job comfortably. :D
