I just got these as a Valentine's Day present. I remember seeing them at the demo day in Dec. and thinking...pls I will NOT ski on those. When I came back from skiing on the Nordica Olympia and went to grab another ski...the Roxy Bliss was the only one that wasn't out on the slopes...so ok I'll give it a try. What an amazing ski it turned out to be! I haven't bought skis in about 4 yrs and was currently skiing on the 160cm Atomic Beta Carv 9 which imho is/was a pretty good ski. Now the Roxy Bliss I tested were at 154cm and my boyfriend who is an advanced skier went to the shop that sells these and based on my height they sold him the 146cm which I think is WAY too short. I'm 5'2 and pushing 200lbs. My problem is he bought these back in December for xmas...I broke my foot and just got back to skiing in Feb so they became a vday present...and the shop will not swap them out for the 154cm. Are these skis going to be too short for me to enjoy?

I'm 5'11"and 199lbs. I ski a Roxy Joy Rider at 162 cm. However, I demo'd the 154 and found those to be a tnne of fun too ... depends on what you're looking for in a ski. However, given that you are 9 inches shorter than me, the 146 cm are probably right ... now sure how weight factors into the entire equation.

Thank you Bing for the feedback. I hope you're right as I'm heading off for a weekend ski at a tiny resort a bit away from where I normally ski! Now I just need a new coat to match lol.

I demoed the Bliss last year and had a lot of fun on it.
With those graphics there's no way you're going to find anything to match!

I am happy to report that while the 146cm Bliss took a bit of getting used to it was a very fun, lively ride. In comparison to my Atomic Beta Carv....it was like being used to a Ford and getting into a Ferarri. They hold the crude beautifully, my center of balance is much improved, and I'm not constantly beating the ski into submission. I have to say my boyfriend was certainly surprised when I zipped passed him and the sign proclaiming EXPERTS ONLY to finish a run that I used to take at a snails pace. :ski2:
