Agreed. But when your skis cut into the ice just right, it's a nice sound! Skidding across ice might even be quieter. I'll have to wait a few months to see. :wink:

Ah, my problem is that even though I'm slowly getting better at skiing on ice, I'm still not managing to cut my skis into the ice :laughter:I'm just skidding them across with a bit more control!!

I was 28! I always seem to smile in my skating and skiing videos. It's a bit funny actually because I also get incredibly frustrated at myself when I'm not doing things right, in both sports :P


26 or so here, same sort of thing. Are there are a lot of rinks where you live? They're kinda hard to come by in New Zealand, but it seems like they'd be everywhere in North America, especially with how big ice hockey is over there.
