Tested Length Felt: Just Right for me. I have another pair of Fischer skis, the My Mtn 80, in a 158 cm length, and they feel a little short for me.
Ski Sidecut Felt: Just Right. I was looking for a carver, and boy this is a carver! It was easy to get on edge. This ski is not for a one-ski quiver, unless you never ever ski off piste or in deep piled up snow, but for frontside, it’s fantastic.
Ski Flex Felt: Stiff. Especially relative to my other skis. But this is not a limiting factor. On the snow, I didn’t feel overpowered by the ski nor did I find it hard to turn or control. It’s manageable and responsive.
Ski Weight: Although this is a heavier ski than my other skis, this had no impact on how it felt on the snow. After a full day, my legs and knees felt good, not fatigued.
Ski Construction: Sandwich, titanium, on-piste rocker
Best Described As: Balanced, smooth, strong
Notes: Some websites describe this ski as an advanced or expert ski, but I think it’s fine for a confident advanced-intermediate like myself. It is very responsive, rewarding good technique with solid, quick, smooth performance. It gave me a joyful feeling of incipient flight.
