@IKam - I'll give some context to my opinions, as I think it's pretty important in understanding where I'm coming from, and valuable for you to make a decision for yourself if you'll enjoy it or not.
[i.e. some of this might come off as complaining that I got the short end of the stick for snow conditions...]
I've only been there once, at the end of February, this year. They were in a big lull of weather...no new snow for the two weeks prior to arrival, above average temps, so the freeze/thaw cycles weren't helping anything. I went for the tree skiing, big bowls, and off-piste terrain. While it was all skiable...it wasn't exactly enjoyable skiing until afternoon, when things really started to thaw out and we hit some spring conditions. I got bored sticking to groomers pretty quickly.
The layout is wonky and the map doesn't exactly portray the mountain well...I was on a snowboard which certainly made things worse with the excessive traverses and sticky conditions in the afternoon.
There are three main lifts: Revelation gondola (with a mid-station), Ripper chair, and Stoke chair.
Most beginner/intermediate terrain is on the bottom half of the Revelation gondola...this was almost all baked out, thin cover (or as their trail report said "Marginal" conditions) when I was there. It has a low elevation compared to the rest of the mountain, so is prone to rain and warm temps when the rest of the mountain might be getting snow. There are some good blue groomers off of the top of the Revelation, but you need to traverse across a slow green "Last Spike" trail to get to those trails. Most people take the Revelation up, and don't come back to the base until they're done skiing.
Ripper and Stoke are both mostly advanced terrain (trees and bumps), with a couple groomers from each. And I will say...getting between those two chairs is a bit of a PITA (especially without poles, lol)...LONG FLAT GREEN traverse.
The views are beautiful, and the town is pretty sweet...cute walkable downtown, with some good restaurants (Kawakubo Sushi was my personal favorite). The town gets busy at night, and reservations are definitely recommended for most restaurants.
Would I go back...probably not. Maybe I would book last minute and have a guarantee of good conditions...but I'm not sure I would take another gamble there. I feel like I do have some unfinished business since I didn't get to ski a lot of the stuff I wanted. But with so many good resorts out there, I don't see myself booking another trip to Revy anytime soon.
I'll throw one more thought into the picture that I wasn't thrilled with --- the "vibe" on the mountain. It kind of had a thick "bro" culture to the place. I tend to skew my vacations towards less expensive, less high-end crowds, and bit off the beaten path. While Revelstoke is out there, and off the beaten path, it seemed to attract a lot more tourists than I expected.
