At whistler when I was up there a couple of weeks ago for some summer sightseeing masks were required on the gondolla, in the line up for tickets and the gondolla and indoors for the bathrooms etc. The liftees were all wearing masks. So it wasn’t just indoor but outdoor in those areas of congestion.

I looked into parking for the LCC/BCC resorts in Utah. Alta and Snowbird are doing something completely different from 2020-21 and also quite different from pre-pandemic parking. Brighton is simply going to space cars farther apart for "social distancing." Solitude went to all pay parking a few years ago and that is continuing.

Solitude is offering a discount on a season parking pass for people who renew. What's new is that there is an option for a midweek parking pass. There is a second parking lot away from the main base that is good for passholders who want to boot up at the car anyway.

Figuring out the Alta parking rules is going to take a while. Only applies to holidays and weekends. Cost is $25 if planning to buy a ticket at the window, $10 if buy online but free for passholders. Seems to be free for any pass, meaning an Alta pass or Ikon/MCP. Everyone must made an online advanced reservation. System will be operational in October. The complaints from the locals will be loud I imagine until they figure out how it works. Same as for the Snowbird parking reservation system for 2020-21, which is NOT going to be used for 2021-22.
