report on my boot fitting and Lange question

first off, thanks for all your help last week. i went first thing saturday morning and they were not busy at all. i tried about 4-5 pairs and it was an overall great experience.

the 2 finalists are:
Lange Exclusive 100 - they didn't have 90, but the 80 (?) are great too
Atomic T9

i told them i hope to stay under $400 and since both were last years model they were under $300. i like them both!

and here is the question - what are the diff between the lange exclusive line and their CRL, comp and SFT lines? (new to lange, just wondering)

Oh lucky girl, found clearance boots in her size and that fit her foot. I'm jealous, OK only my credit card is jealous. I LOVE MY CUSTOM FIT BOOTS!!!

I thought the whole experience was fun too (my first time doing it RIGHT), I felt so pampered, especially when I came back to get everything tweaked.

Sorry, I can't help you on the different boots. My feet see Lange and they head for the hills, so I know absolutely nothing about them.

I'm truly surprised that Lange and Atomic are your 2 choices. Atomics tend to run way wide, and Langes tend to run way narrow.

The Exclusive 100 appears to be an excellent boot with the best fit I've ever found for women's typically narrower heel, wider forefoot, and lower larger calf muscle (they are a Jeannie Thoren design). If you're under 175lbs or not super aggressive, they should be a great all around boot (assuming they really, really fit). They were way too soft for me at 190ish lbs. My only other concern with them is the comfy, cushy liner....how quickly and how much are they going to pack out???
