Remounting Bindings

Calling all gear heads! I am loving my '08 Solomon Mynx skis, but for several reasons, I regret having them center mounted (I would prefer them mounted slightly closer to a traditional mount, maybe 4 cm back). The Mynx skis are like the Solomon 1080s. I have 2 concerns about moving the bindings: 1) I don't want to compromise the integrity of the ski (and not being a wood core ski, this is not the burliest of skis); and 2) I don't want to see the holes from the original mount, at least from the top. I have no prior experience with remounting bindings, and would appreciate input from those of you with experience with binding remounting.

I think you might see the front holes if you remount. 4cm is a lot. If I go the store I'll ask if they have that binding kicking around. Can't really see the screw holes on the website pic. As for compromising the ski, the installer should/will fill the holes, you don't want moisture into the core of the ski.
