Courtesy of a ski buddy who took weekly race lessons with Kit Kat. She's left central Virginia for whiter pastures in New Mexico. Our loss for sure.

I skied with a ski instructor this season who does this. I didn't see him "perform" but he said it's one of his interests.

It was a big deal in the 70's. Olin (a ski manufacturer many of you may not have ever heard of) made a dedicated ballet ski - 150. Orange.

How about Ski Dancing?

April 2009

The inventor of Floskis, Adrian Floreani, loves to ski backwards and do spins. Met him at Mammoth in May a while back. Had a chance to demo his skis. He gave me tips on how to do 360s, which was much easier on Floskis.

I had an Olin Mark IV. Also orange.

I had the Mark III in black and my dad had the Mark IV in orange. My very first skis were Hart - orange with white horizontal stripes. I think I had Raichle boots. This was circa 1972.
