Religious posts and PMs (Ignore PM from Buddha)

It's been brought to my attention that a new user was using the PM feature to send unsolicited religious messages to our other members. This in direct violation of forum policies, and this user has now been banned.

I'm sorry if this has caused anyone undue distress. The policy against religious posts and PMs was put in place out of respect for the personal beliefs of all our members. It is my intent to maintain a welcoming environment for everyone here.

I appreciate being kept abreast of this situation, as well as of any such others that may arise, as we grow.

BTW, if it's not possible to remove all the PM from that user, how about changing the title to "Ignore PM by Budda"? There's no skiing content in the PM.

Good idea. I can't remove the PMs, but I can change the thread title for this.

When someone sends you an inappropriate PM, I really have no way of knowing about it unless someone tells me (PMs are personal, which is as it should be). So please don't hesitate to let me know if there's a problem. This particular member signed up, posted no messages, and immediately began sending loads of PMs before I figured out what was going on and showed them the door.

I do what I can to make sure our new members are 1) female and 1) not a spammer, but as you imagine, as we grow, someone is bound to slip through. So I appreciate any help you can give me, as well as your understanding.
