We visited a reindeer farm when we were on our skiing trip in Lapland. Also went to a mini reindeer "safari" with bunch of young reindeer (the owner said they always take the inexperienced ones when there is a group of Finns that are used to animals - in our case we were 6 vets).

Wow - that's really neat! I think I pictured reindeer as being bigger... though maybe that's just from associating a big rack of antlers with elk and moose. But they are definitely cute!
 
So cool! I am a reindeer fanatic, have read and re-read The Snow Queen dozens of times since childhood, would love to see Lapland one day.

I am so jealous. That is very cool. When getting my christmas tree this year they had deer in a pen and called them "reindeer" :eyebrows:
