Rechargeable hand warmers- any recommendations?

I'm starting my holiday shopping. I don't usually use hand warmers myself, just on the occasional super cold day so the disposable kind is fine for that. But my mother's hands are icicles. Always. Even in the summer. I'm considering a set of the rechargeable ones for her to tuck into her pockets. She doesn't ski, so it would just be for out walking, or sitting around the house when she doesn't have her little icicle fingers wrapped around a cup of tea. I figured I'd ask for recommendations on here first before scrolling through online reviews and throwing a dart.

I'm also wondering if they could be a cheap way to start my ski day with warm tootsies. I've been using a travel dry guy boot dryer plugged into my car on the way to the hill. It helps, but they cool down a fair amount by the time I get into the lodge. I'm not quite ready to pony up for a heated Kulkea.

Don't know about type of these hand warmers, but buy 2 pair. Throw one in your boots period.

This is the one suggested by This Old House, it seems worth a shot for the price-

I also found this, which is a single but comes in cute patterns with a wrist strap. It would cost more overall having to buy two of them for my mom if the idea is one per pocket instead of just holding it in both hands, but she might like the look better. For something that would only see the inside of my boots, looks don't matter.
