random screw fell out of boot

I removed the liners from my Dalbello Chakras and doing so left a small loose screw rolling around at the bottom of each shell. I gave the liners a good yank to get them out, but certainly not with enough force to move/warp any of the hard plastic parts. Peering inside (I stuck my phone into the shells for photos), I cannot find any holes to which the screws belong. Where are these screws are supposed to go?

Usually that type of screw is not on the inside of any boot. Is anything missing from the cuff, power strap or back of the boot?

Those screws are for the shell attachted spoilers ... which look like they hae been removed.

Related question: one of the liners has a torn seam. The tear is about an inch long and it has made the plastic part of the tongue “uncurl” a little bit. Will gear tape be enough to patch it up or should I have it sewn?

If you're going to use gear tape, I suggest Noso Patches. They're far more durable and really stick well.
