Quick Day in Alta

Just wanted to report that my 7 year old daughter and I went to Alta for the night this last weekend. We stayed at the Alta Peruvian Lodge and skied on the Albion Lifts.
Can I just say it was the BEST day ever. First it was my birthday and I was lucky to have a fun weekend trip to SLC with just me and my girl. Thanks to some great input here we headed over to the beginner lifts with confidence. My daughter is a great skiier and we had so much fun as the slopes were so gentle that I could confidently get some speed, she could goof around and have fun and we both sang songs and "skied some trees" Also the lift operators were SO nice.......and let's not even discuss how beautiful it is there.
I am already planning on going back.
Thanks to the divas here who gave me the 411 on the area...I might have been a little too intimidated to go without it and missed out on one of the best days ever!

altagal83..thanks again for your info, it was very accurate!! The mountain was perfect and I'll be ready to tackle more of it next time! I can see why you love it so much. It's a bit like taking a step back in time, you feel like you're out in the middle of nowhere but only 10 miles up the road from SLC. I'm hooked and will definately be back.....maybe we can meet up next time I'm there! (ps: I also saw that alta got 20" over the last two days)
