Question for those of you who teach...

Ski Diva Extraordinaire
I have been asked to be a "Snowsports" Merit Badge Councilor by husbands Boy Scout Troop/Crew. This doesn't mean I actually have to teach them, but I do have to evaluate that they know certain skills. I have noticed that many of you Diva's are also instructors, can you give me some good resources for instruction videos/DVDs and books, etc.?

I am actually quite excited. Last year I recruited 2 teenagers, the boy chose snowboarding, but the 14 yr old girl is skiing. They convinced thier mom to get them season passes and equipment this year . Hint to all: Take a 15 yr old girl the the REI used gear sales and let her negotiate prices with the young male sales clerks - she got a pair of used once K2 Lotta Luvs for $125, originally marked $350, she got the guy to mark them down some more, because they were the only girls skis there.

Last weekend, my husband took his Boy Scout Troop skiing and re-cruited 2 new boys - they had a blast and are planning another trip(I had to stay home sick ....POUTING). I don't know if having a 7 yr old help a 13 yr old get back onto the snow after skiing into the dirt was a good thing or not.
