Question: POC Ski Helmets?

Ladies,

Anyone out there wear a POC Ski helmet - or any of POC Ski's other protective gear for that matter?

I've heard good things about the company from a few people but a search for POC on this site came up empty...and Diva advice is golden!

I hope to try a few helmets on this week while I am in Ohio, if I can find a ski shop.

I found a "POC" thread on Epic, but I am still interested in Diva feedback...

SkiGAP, I have a POC helmet. Technically I believe they are a great helmet. Also warm because of the covered ear. Inside the helmet the ear area has room...not tight, which some helmets can be. Since I haven't wiped out wearing this helmet, can't say how it does, but I purchased it for its specs. I have the white one...look like a giant Q-tip.

It is a very popular helmet amongst our older ski racers but I don't see many non-racers around them here. I prefer the feel of the soft ear helmets but they are supposed to be very good as far as protection goes.

My acronym minded (and apparently helmet brand uneducated) self read that as "Piece of crap helmets" and expected this to be a thread listing helmets divas have had bad experiences with
