Please Don't Wear White

Agreed with this advice. The first ski jacket I ever bought was white (now I know why it was on sale). Coupled with my black pants and the frequent fog at my home mountain, I used to wonder why I would sometimes have near-misses on uncrowded slopes. Once I switched to wearing bright colors the near-misses stopped.

I have never owned a white ski jacket. Actually I avoid white of any kind as I am exceedingly messy and it wouldn't look clean for very long.

But certainly wearing a white ski jacket is a recipe for disaster.
