I was reminiscing lately. headed to Montana in a few weeks from flat Ohio.
Been skiing out west twice a year since 1977!! Yikes.
Anyways, the third trip my late sister and I took was to Crested Butte in April 1978, stayed at the Silver Lode.
There was a young boy at the hotel who was SO excited about the Easter Bunny coming. I noticed that the young lad had scars on his head, probably from brain surgeries. I know it’s been 40 years ago but I still think about him. The innocence of youth.
