Pants!

How many do you have?

I have two but I only wear one. Sometimes I wonder if people think I am a dirtbag because I will only wear one pair of ski pants for a ski trip, but then I change my baselayers so I don't think it's dirty. And you can always find me because my outerwear outfit does not change from day to day!

Plus I lurve my red ski pants!

I have 3 pairs: one thicker for very cold days, one thinner (and tighter) for when I'm feeling slim, and one unlined waterproof pair for warm early/late season days.

I only own one pair of ski pants, and wear them multiple days in a row, or until the dirt is noticable.

I guess add me to the list of dirtbags ;)

I have one pair of black pants that go with everything! They're pretty warm, but I can obviously change my baselayer based on outside temps. I also have rain shell pants that I can use if it's really warm. All black so as a bonus they pretty much never look dirty.

FWIW, this year I have North Face Freedom Pant and love them!

I have my new TNF Freedom Pants as well but just found out yesterday I'm going to buy a pair of lightly used same model pants in ice blue as well so I'll be able to rotate a couple of pairs. Both will match all three jackets well. :D Until now I've always been a one pair Diva.

One pair here, but I love them. Black side zip Descente's. I vary what I wear underneath them from day to day and wash them every couple of weeks, they wash like a dream. I have some old pants I wear if I am out bushwacking or getting dirty though.

Three pairs, one black and two beige. One pair of beige still has faded stains from sitting in grease on a chair lift at Okemo two years ago. :mad:

They're still my favorite pair and I tend to wear them a lot. I like the way they fit and they have lots of great pockets that zip.

I change the base layer every day.

...did get me in trouble last year when I accidentally left my "old" one pair at the hill one evening (I was very tired that day...)...ended up in a frantic search online for something cheap/decent/fast so I would have pants to wear skiing the following weekend

Two pairs, currently. Going to try to find a purple or bright blue pair, and a black pair. Hopefully... But I've got a pair or dark gray Nikita hipster ones, and then a pair of BRIGHT orange Orage pants. =)

Too many. One truly due for retirement (7th season). Forever bouncing between 2 distinct sizes. Last weekend, I did the bag-to-sag (have diva witnesses) - HORRORS! like a SNOWBOARDER! Broke out the "thin" pants. That might last 2 weeks or all season. Who knows?

Too many - and most in a size too big - the deals at the outlet store were just too good to pass up. I do wash my ski pants quite often, I'm short and they drag through the mud, plus I lean against my car to clean off the snow.

GG: I have a question. I got a great pair of Arctryx Gore Tex Theta bibs from an OR friend last year and love them. But they are large and with my off-season workout regime, they are perfectly huge on me now. Can these high-tech pants be altered?

If not---hey ladies---I may put these FABULOUS hard shells on sale. They keep me dry in every condition and I would likely buy another pair, just a size smaller.
