Opening Day at Loon

Had a blast. I've never been there before so I didn't know what to expect. There was top to bottom skiing and a good base. Edge to edge coverage too, not sketchy scary this-trail-shouldn't-be-open stuff.

I brought both my Atomics and my Elans. I demoed the Atomics before I bought them and loved them. Bought the Elans purely on a gut feeling. The Elans (Wave Magic) are my new favorite ski. I was having so much fun on them that I didn't want to take them off to ride the Atomics. But then I caught up with another woman who had the same pair so I changed it up. Three runs later I was back on the Elans. Too bad that I can't do a technical kind of write up, I'm just not that tech savvy when it comes to skis.

Anyhow, it was a great day, can't wait to go back!
