OneLuv or LottaLuv??

Help! I need new skis and have narrowed it down to two. I feel like I still need input on the K2 OneLuv vs. the LottaLuv. I am an advanced skier who skis in Tahoe. I ski both on and off piste (trying to follow my expert husband). I usually get a good 20 days in a year, and I am moving to Truckee, so I'm hoping to get in even more. Both my boys (ages 4 and 6) are on the ski team, so I do a lot of skiing with them - meaning that I also troll around the intermediate runs and terrain parks. So, I basically need an all mountain ski. I've also looked at the Burnin'Luv, but I'm afraid that it will over power me. I'm 5'5", 36 years old, and about 130lbs, and not too aggressive in my skiing. Any suggestions? Reccomendations?

Lotta luvs hands down!
The one luv will perform well in marginal conditions but will not take you to a level of skiing you need when the powder or crud days befall.

I have the Burnin luv, which is the same dimension as the one luv but it's a bit stiffer and has substantial ability to take on the gnar.

The lotta luv is a phenomenal ski that will do all you need and more. Don't hesitate.....Get on it and Luv it!

I'll usually tell it to you straight, even if you don't like the answer.

There are a few divas who like the one love that they got for this season. I'm sure its fine on groomers but if you get into crud or significant powder I can see it getting skiddish.

The burnin luv, which I have, gets through the crud great. The lotta luv has similar construction with a bit more width. Gotta luv that!!!

The lotta luv has my vote. I think Thatsagirl has it, or has demoed it recently. Maybe she'll see this and chime in.

Lotta Luv

Lotta Luv definitely. I ski the Burnin' Luv, but you sound higher skilled than I am. Just came back from Aspen/Snowmass Epic Ski Academy. Lotsa Luvs. Mostly Burnin' Luvs, and all the stronger skiers chose the Lotta Luvs. I don't think you can go wrong.

I thought the Burnin' Luvs were the stiffer ski and better for stronger skiers??? Do you like your Burnin' Luvs?

The lotta luvs and the burnin luvs have similar construction(unless I've missed something, which is possible). The lotta luvs have wider dimensions and are a good choice for a versatile ski if you're going to hit some powder and some groomers.

Don't worry about the Lotta luv. You will LUV it!

Margaritamarcia, you'll have to fill us in on the trip!

I have not skiied the Burnin Luv or One Luv, but I have skiied the Lotta Luv - they ROCK!!!

The only time I had any problem with them was on ice (a different edge angle would probably fix some of that). They did great on the chuncky hard pack and transitioned flawlessly to the powder, in fact I didn't even notice the powder until I was already in it. Totally worth it if you are going to ski in the powder.
