OMG---Brighton Rocks

I am biased. I host at Brighton. But today totally rocked. I did not host today---but when a 'POWDER ALERT' email from B-ton came through early this a.m., I heeded the call.

Think powder thigh-level in the bowls. Every tree shot, for which Brighton excels, is effortless. And solitary runs everywhere. And face shots.

I know Alta, Snowbird, and the big resorts are wonderful. And Solitude has Honeycomb. And I've had many great adventures in all of these.

But, today at little ol' Brighton, I had an EPIC day. It rocked....thanks to the snow gods and the perfectly-spaced trees all over the entire resort. And the lack of people----we were puzzled. Did they all go to Alta/Snowbird? Shop for V-day? Whatever----it beat the hell out of my plans to do housework and errands.

Me and my pocket rockets had another great adventure. Thank you snow gods. And maybe it's OK that Brighton is an overlooked gem.

Alta wasn't that crowded, either -- maybe the weather kept people away? And it was equally epic. Hope there's some left at Brigthon for Thursday!

Totally agree
Although I've not been to SnowBasin or Powder Mt - and haven't been to Utah in quite a few years, when I look back on my trips there, the place that comes first to my mind is the Millicent region of Brighton. Flat out the best times I've had in Utah have been there.
Big thumbs up.

come on down........I'll show you around. I used to ski Beaver Mountain with the kids in the 80's, a fun resort. And b/c around Logan is great (except for the snowmachines).
