Okemo Credit Card data theft

Just saw on the news tonight that for the second time in 2 years Okemo has had their CC database hacked. This year the dates during which CC data was compromised were during February. Just a heads up incase anyone here made charges there last month.

Thanks for the heads up...just saw it on their website last night. I narrowly missed the window in which they believe the compromise took place. Though I was there on either end of the time span so who knows...I monitor my CC on a regular basis so I'm not too worried, but it's frustrating for sure. We just had this happen at a supermarket chain as well and I had to have a new CC issued because of it. I guess the only potential solution is to carry cash....but cards are much easier, I'm lazy.

Yes, I heard that also about the supermarket, it is Hannaford and supposedly cc info was taken from the POS machine where you swipe your card and send the data over the internet.
