My first day out this season!! Wooooow, the most intense day of skiing I've ever had. Snow conditions varied from packed powder to ice. I had heard stories of dread about skiing the T-day weekend but I skied amazing trails (for people in the know: the Solitude area and Rimrock) that were virtually deserted! Other trails were crowded but definitely no bowling pins. It was SO cold on the summit and I can't thank Quiver Queen enough for her ski goggles that she sent to me! I'd never skied with goggles before but now I can't imagine skiing without them.

An amazing day!
