Well, I finally got out on the hill at Okemo today. And it was (drum roll here).......

Not as good as I'd hoped, condition-wise. There was a lot of ice, interrupted by good size death cookies (I think all my fillings are loose) and a few occasional decent patches. I'm glad I had my rock skis.

Still, it was a beautiful day: not a cloud in the sky, no wind, and not cold. And the company couldn't have been better: Mr. Ski Diva and Quiver Queen. I even saw Lilgeorg and Mr. LG taking some runs. At least there was none of that dreaded downloading going on.

Still, I'm a happy camper. The season's just beginning! There are a lot of great days to come. :yahoo:

Mmmm... I think I should resign from Ski Diva. Seems like all the NE divas are at Okemo yesterday and I was the only one who thought skiing is something one does in "winter", aka Janurary!

You gals are really hardcore. That's all I can say!
