Oh yeah, so that's what it feels like!

Last nite I put my boots on for the first time this season, just to remind my feet what it feels like to be in ski boots. I got new boots with a real snug hi-performance fit last year and what a difference it made in my skiing. But Wow! Over the summer, I've forgotten how snug the fit is! I almost got claustrophobic! Good thing I put them on, b/c I need to put them on a few more times just to get used to the feeling before opening day comes.

I put mine on in September. After a summer of wearing sandals most of the time, it felt confined to have the snug fit of ski boots, and yet, it felt like an old friend was hugging my feet.
Ahhhhhhhh!

Mine feel more like someone who sneaks up behind you, covers your eyes and says "guess who!". Then after you're thoroughly startled, you turn around and realize it's your best friend whom you haven't seen in ages, and there's a lot of catching up to do!

Truthfully, I was paranoid that all the stretching work I had gotten done would have somehow shrunk back... (They're OK). My feet will be fine and dandy as soon as I get them on some snow! :eyebrows:
