I am a big believer in the benefits of yoga, both for strengthening and restoring. Try Googling "yoga for hamstring injuries". I imagine much of what you find will complement the physical therapy exercises, or even be exactly the same. But putting those exercises in a yoga context may pay off in the long run. I particularly recommend Iyengar-based yoga, which emphasizes proper alignment.
