Interesting numbers today from the National Ski Areas Association: the number of ski areas continue to fall. In the 20/21 ski season, 462 were in operation, down from 470 in 19/20. There were three new ski areas:Kingvale Snow Schoolers, CA; Skeetawk, AK; and seven re-opened ski areas: Cockaigne, NY; Hermitage Club, VT; Mt. Jefferson, ME; Saddleback, ME; Tower Mountain, MI; Timberline Mountain, WV; and Paul Bunyan, WI
