I took this ski out as a demo earlier this year. It is a great ski to grow into. I think that there are better choices out there but it is still a fun ski. For a low intermediate it might be a bit stiff but it depends on where you are on the mountain and what your skiing is like. When I took them out I think that I was on a 160, I would have gone shorter if I could have. I think that had they been shorter I would have had more fun. Hope this helps.
