So the REI tickets you bought online were mailed to you?

These days, online advanced purchases directly from a mountain don't even require printing to paper. Most of the time, I haven't even had to show the emailed receipt. All I've done is give my name.

I should clarify, they were vouchers that you traded in at the mountain for tickets. It looks like REI has a stack so there's not a way I think to tie my name to the physical ticket.

@diymom Ah that's what I'm hoping to do. I sent an email and they said to call them, so just trying to find the time to do that haha

Skiers / boarders...

Mike@TENNEY states, conditions are a 9.0 “again” on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best. Spring like conditions, soft / mash potato snow in the open areas, firmer harder snow on shaded trails.
Skiing conditions ARE awesome especially if you like freshly machined tilled and groomed trails. Top of mountain has lots of light undisturbed powder (about 3-5” inches) and lower part of mountain from tower 5 down has very heavy, dense snow (2-3”inches).

Spring like conditions so expect different types of media conditions.

Wax your skis!

Grooming Crew: Dylan@TENNEY

Ski / Ride alert with caution always... Dress accordingly!

As I mentioned back in August when I started this thread, this season was an opportunity for me to explore New Hampshire skiing before I picked up my daughter in Boston for school breaks. I had a good time on two ski safaris, in Dec and Mar. I’ve also stopped by for a quick look at the base of some of the smaller ski areas in the last few years while driving around New England during fall colors in recent years. The history of NH skiing is fascinating. If I were living in eastern MA, wouldn’t see much reason to drive farther to VT or ME for midweek skiing.

Skied (* once): Attitash*, Bretton Woods*, Cannon*, Loon, Sunapee, Tenney, Waterville Valley, Wildcat
Base look only: Abenaki, Dartmouth Skiway, Gunstock, King Pine, Ragged

Early or late season can be a good time to check out a new place in what I call "tourist mode" for future reference.

Wed, 12Dec: Loon - Ikon
Thu, 13Dec: Wildcat and Attitash - $42 ticket online
Fri, 14Dec: Bretton Woods - $20 lift ticket, special offer in early Sep
Wed, 19Dec: Waterville Valley - $50 ticket online
Sun, 10Mar: Tenney, 9:00-12:30, snowing! - half-day AM $50
Mon, 11Mar: Cannon - $45 motel voucher
Tue, 12Mar: Sunapee Ladies Extravaganza, demo day - $25 lift ticket, $35 registration
Wed, 13Mar: Waterville Valley - free voucher from BSSC Nov kick-off

With a little advance planning via PM and Meet On The Hill threads, it was nice to meet up with Divas for at least a few runs. Always a bonus during a ski safari to meet a new Diva in person.

For those who come across this thread in the future, here are related trip reports. Most are from 2018-19 but I also included a couple earlier threads that have pictures.
