New Vail Resorts Pass!

This was just released for next year. Vail Resorts will be offering a pass that includes Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Heavenly unlimited skiing for only $579. Wow! To me, the only downfall is the exclusion of Arapahoe Basin. If you plan on coming to the Diva Summit and any other trips to Colorado or Heavenly this is quite a steal. If you ski at least 7 days at any of those resorts you'll pay for the pass.

This IS a phenomenal deal! Also, most of the time if you buy in the Spring (49.00 down and the rest in Aug/Sept), then you get some extra perks!

One more thing....Group rates at A-Basin for this year have been 29.00 per person (with 12 or more people), so if the Diva Summit takes us to A-Basin, we should DEFINITELY look into that group rate, since it's not included on a pass (an A-Basin alone ski pass cost 279.00 by itself this year)! An A-Basin single day lift ticket this year was running 56.00 I think (unless you are over 70, then it was $10.00!)

Yup! They are! Their cheapest ticket right now is going for 44.00ish! Which is pretty good!

I believe we'll be making a few trips out there next year, which will make it worth while.

Does this mean the cheaper, more restricted CO Pass is going *extinct?* I can't always get up enough to ski more than 10 days at Vail/BC and a couple elsewhere, so I liked the option in the $300s.

I was guessing when I took the survey they sent around a couple months ago that they might be considering axing the CO Pass, but it's hard to tell if it might crop up later. Or not.

I wondered the same thing. I really hope not. I'm lucky to get 10 days a year total, let alone use up all my days at Vail/BC. If they ARE doing away with the CO pass, I might be able to swing it this year, but probably won't be able to afford it in the future (thanks to a pending divorce and subsequent loss of income). :(

For those who ski a lot, especially at Vail/Beaver, this is a GREAT deal.

Wow, that's terrific. That really suits us for a 3 week trip. We've never been able to use the Colorado Pass before, but this is the ticket! This, combined with the favourable exchange rate means another trip to Colorado next year is much more likely than going to Europe.
