New Gear

I just got some new gear.

I got Head Monster i.M. 72's (170cm) and Lange Exclusive 90 boots. Now if we could only get some SNOW!

I was going to get the Wild Thangs but decided against it as my body really isn't made for women specific skis. They assume like women's ski clothing that all women are under 5'6" and weigh less than 150lbs.

Let us know when you try them out! We'd love a gear review.

I have the Monster iM72s - great all-rounder. I am 5'6" and do weigh (just) less than 150 lb but couldn't try the Wild Thang last year. If you want to go mega fast or ski thigh-deep powder all the time, they're not the ski for you, but they'll handle just about anything else. I tend to use them when I don't know quite what conditions to expect; on definite hardpack days the Fast Thangs come out and now, when we are heading for powder I'll be reaching for my (acquired but not yet paid for!) Scott Rosas. Mind you, the Scotts were so impressive on the hardpack last week that the Monsters' place in the quiver may be superseded ;)

I have volkl 6 stars and Bandit x's in my quiver still so I have at least a couple types of surfaces covered.
