New Feature: Thread Tagging

We now have a new feature on the forum:

Thread Tagging.

Thread tagging is a system that allows users to apply their own keywords (tags) to threads. This makes them easier to find, should you ever want to find all the threads that relate to a particular subject. For example, if you want all the threads that relate to Nordica skis, you might give these threads the tag "Nordica." You can add tags to a thread by clicking on "Edit Tags" in the right of the yellow bar on the bottom of the page below "Post Reply."

Any users who then click on these tags will not only find all threads that have the same tag as the one clicked, but will also contribute to the building of a search tag cloud, which gives users a quick guide as to what has been searched for recently and most frequently.

Here's what I mean by a search tag cloud:

Scroll all the way down past the "post reply" button till you get to the quick reply text box. Just above it is a yellow bar that runs across the page...on the right side is "edit tags."

I'm using Safari....could that be part of the problem?
I'm a MAC user.

Are you within a thread??? You have to open a thread to see the bar.

It's not easy to see the text, but it's there, on the right hand side of the yellow bar.

I use a Mac too. You still should see the yellow bar at the bottom of the page when in a thread, no matter the browser. (Don't let those PC people give you a Mac complex! We know our computers are better!:D

Ah HAAAAA!!! I figured it out!

Ok...here's what I had to do:

I had to make the thing at the VERY bottom say "Purple Dreemz Fluid"

Mine just said "Purple."

Don't ask me how or why....but I played with some things and figured it out! Yeah for me! :cheer:
