Need used/new inexpensive gear

Well, I've rented for my first couple of lessons but want to buy. Still a beginner so want something to keep me going through this season. Haven't got much money after lift passes etc etc.

Anyone got any used skis etc or recommendations in Utah?

Anyone know anything about this place https://www.skitruck.com/index.php - they seem to have good prices.

Questions, questions, questions.....

If you haven't already, check out www.steepandcheap.com and www.tramdock.com . They both sell one item at a time until it's gone, but usually at fantastic discounts. High quality stuff, too. It's kind of hit or miss, but you can find some great deals! Just watch out, it's addictive...

Demo sales

Just wanted to suggest that you check with the rental/demo shops. My sister demo'd a bunch of skis and then they sold her a pair she loved at a big discount.

Thanks to you all for your advise. I mulled it all over and considered just demoing skis for a while (see my other thread). Talked it over with hubby and researched, researched, researched and eventually decided to go and visit Level Nine Sports (thanks pinto ). I now own a super comfy pair of Head Dream Thang 8 HF boots and Head Lite Lite Thang Railflex skis with bindings + poles. All this for $422!!!! Very happy bunny so thanks all :clap:

Thanks for the offer but I've bought some Head boots which seem to be good so far.
