My New Camelbak!

I just had to share!
I got a new Camelbak/backpack! I LOVE IT!!!!! :cheer:
I got it on sale for 34.00! I've been watching it all year for it to come down from an unaffordable 80.00!
It's purple and white....MUSTS for me on the slope!

Wow, are those cute or what?? Great price, too. Don't remember what I paid for my Camelback/backpack combo, but it's pink, and I'm not nuts about the color (usually use a smaller, under-jacket one). You scored!

Cuuuute! Purple and white. Yea! Love gear that is feminine but tough. Guess the manufacturers are learning!!

I sure hope so... not that I have anything against pink, 'cause I do like pink, but there's only so much of it I can stand. Please don't make it pink and call it girl's. Girls like other colors too! Matter of fact, I much prefer the "manly" colors of black and navy. I'd rather see things custom-fitted for women so we don't look like tomboys, wearing our brother's clothes, equipment, etc.

The black one looks good! How do you like the bottle system?

I have two Camelbaks, one when I love and use all the time and another which I wish I loved and I never use.

The Sugar is the one I love:

It's perfect for hiking, skating, riding, etc. I just didn't use it for skiing because it doesn't fit very well underneath a jacket.

The Snoangel is the one I'd thought I'd love:

I thought it'd be perfect for skiing as I'd wear it under my jacket, and for all around use when I'm not trying to cart anything. Turns out it's really not my style. With major hips and boobage, I desperately missed the hips/waist strap. It just kept pulling upward so annoyingly that I haven't *actually* used this bag for a day. I guess maybe I should sell it.

snowbunny 1976 - I agree about fit. We are built differently from guys and need our own sizes. As far as colors, I used to hate the "feminine" colors thinking they symbolized "weak" (read, I was a major tomboy!). Still am a tomboy (what am I saying here?) but grew into and now love wearing all those pinks and purples while being a strong Diva!

num - that's pretty ironic - for me, it's the opposite with my Camels! I used my "snowangel" a lot, and have hardly used my other pack which had the waist strap and holds other stuff!

Guess what - another Camelbak popp ed up on SAC! Synchronicity!
