Not sure if I should post this, but I'm gonna give it a go. This post is actually me searching for a Ski Diva for my Big Brother.

I have tried to set my brother up on dates but it just seems like in NJ all the girls are whining... I hate skiing its too cold. Now thats just not going to work w/my brother.. he needs a ski diva.

Any singles ladies out there in NJ area want a ski date w/my brother? He's a sweety 35 yrs old. Plus he needs to learn how to ski on shaped ski's, he loves his old school straights.

I love it ... from Ski Diva to Ski Yenta?

My brother is married to the perfect "mountain" lady already, but I can totally see where you are coming from. Good luck. Tell him to come to Colorado or some other state where there are more of "us" and the odds are better.

Pretty sweet of you to do this for your bro!
Single here, when the kids are older I hope to find a partner that loves to ski also, hopefully friends are looking out for me like you are for your brother. I am so far away that I can't help out....darn !

He's probably stuck with that state of affairs in Jersey...lol.

There are tons of ski betties here in Alaska and they will probably never complain it's too cold.

hehe.. thanks for the feedback. I wasn't sure if I was going to get a positive or negative response from the post.

Don't think he's gonna move too far away.. we are a very close family. But you never know.

Maybe i'll should buy him some ski lessons... maybe meet a diva that way?

Awww...if I lived near NJ, I'd give it a shot -- Marigee's apparently spotted a ski patroller for me at the local hill, but I have the toughest time trying to spot her (and thus meeting up with said ski patroller) on the slope.

I gotta tell you. Not for nothin' Not all the gals in NJ are whinny...... Born in NJ, and proud of it. I started skiing at the rip old age of 26 and fell in love, in spite of the cold, the soreness, the bad knees and the 71/2 hours drive to Vermont. I've skied and continue to do so with some of worst conditions -25 degrees with other NJ gals, tru die hards. Perhaps your brother is looking in the wrong places in New Jersey. Seriously, suggest he join a ski club...

And while we're on the subject, I have a son.....
And he has already been informed of his need to attend A-Basin Diva Day!

toughgirl,
How about a ski club in your area? or an organized trip through a ski shop (or similar).
