If the world's problems don't have you depressed enough, here's a gloomy prediction from a piece that ran Snowbrains.com: According to a new study by Northern Illinois University, average snowstorms could drop by 28% before the end of the century in central and eastern North America. The scientists predict American winters might experience significant decreases in the frequency, intensity, and size of snowstorms, by the last decade of this century.
