Are you taunting me?

I so wish I could stayed. I half wished the mountain passes were closed so I got stuck there to ski the dump.

But I'm moving this weekend. And a trip to Park City next Wednesday. I really can't afford to got stuck in Aspen, even with the epic dump.

Ok I'll confess. After watching the snow just POUR out of the sky last night I knew I had to escape work today & sneak in some runs.

Truth - the wind was so strong last night that the lovely fresh pow had a thin crust over the top. Not SO epic of conditions...but I still carved up some untouched (albeit crusty) pow for 2 hours this afternoon.

Now I'm back at the office.

OK sorry to disappoint. It has just been dumping snow all night last night...I can barely see anything out my office window right now besides SNOW, of course. It's supposed to stop tonight - but only temporarily until tomorrow afternoon, at which point it is supposed to snow til Saturday.

Big powder weekend. I'm so psyched!! Time to demo the Volkl Bridge!!

Park City?? I'm SOOOOOO jealous. Was there the last 2 years, and had a ball. It was my only experience skiing out west. And if you've been in the Poconos (my neck of the woods) you'd know just what a treat it was for me!!!

Have fun!

I am so ready to get some!

I am trying to finagle a way to get to Vail tomorrow with my Dad. Wish I could make it to Snowmass, but it needs to be a day trip. Hoping the roads stay OK and it's not toooooo cold. But it sounds like it will be. Who cares? Cold = cold smoke!
