MLK '19 Storm in Vermont

I skied at Killington this afternoon (decided to wait until it was above zero F.). A slow lift, gusts of wind, and the sun going down (by 3 pm). I lasted an hour!

But it took me an hour yesterday to climb the very steep, but very small hill behind my house and try to ski down it! This is a 5-minute endeavor in the summer! Let’s just say, I don’t know how to ski powder, and even walking in 18” was quite a challenge! I did get the skis to go down, a little. If it weren’t so steep I would have had to walk back down.
