I think Nutting wouldn't sell springs/hv/laurel....rumors were that they were looking though. But maybe that's because they've been looking everywhere...
The Mid-Atlantic is the obvious missing region for international multi-resort passes. The potential market from Pittsburg, Philly, DC/NoVA, and Richmond adds up to a lot of people. Could also draw from NJ/NYC if the location was in eastern PA.

I sure wish someone would buy Timberline.
No kidding. Was many years ago when I started back up skiing that we were over there. Now that I am a much better skier, I would love to go back and try some of those blues and blacks. Some serious investment is needed though to get the place back into shape. It's such a beautiful area with longer runs and a lot of natural snow like Snowshoe due to the higher elevation.
