We have two. One for kids 7 and under for ski school under and a public use one. Love them. We are no longer even allowed to pick a kid up by there arm when they fall as there have been so many injuries of children's fragile shoulder sockets. I think the magic carpet helps with that too compared to a rope tow. One of my students had a pretty life-altering catastrophic injury getting stuck in a rope tow as a kid. I of course also love the gondolas forgetting more than a couple of tiny kids up the mountain. Chair lifts with three kids in the 5-year range or even younger is just scary in my opinion.

I love the magic carpets. We have them for all use Adults, kids, littles (3-6). It is in our beginner area. The hardest part is teaching how to side step up to it or duck walk up to it. Many people always fall as they like to readjust themselves or they try and step off it or who knows what else.
We always remind everyone, you will slide on and just stay still and don't try and move until you reach the top and slide off. Don't lean back is always what we say.
Lots of kids love the carpet especially when there is snow on the side and they try and make a snow ball or if the snow is super wet and cold making an ice ball
