Lotta's and Conquers

I had this question imbedded in another thread I posted, but here it is directly:

Would anyone who has tried both the Lotta's and Conquer's be willing to describe/compare them?

I know I should demo, but always feel time is so short, and can get a really good deal on the Lotta's, but am curious about the Conquers. Again, looking at a 2nd pair to my BL's, to go off the groomers on our big Alta trip, and for those rare fluffier days in the Northeast.

Thanks!

Its been a while since I've been on the Lottas, so it may not be the current Lotta that I'm referring to, however, this is what I found.

The Lotta luv, held well on ice, carved nicely in short, med and GS'y carves, had some ability to get through the spring crud and slop, but lost marks when it came to speed.
The Conquer, slightly more stable when it went from edge to edge, carved nicely for short med and GS'y carves, motored through the spring crud and kept performing well at speed, without getting sketchy at all.

These two skis are very similar, but the Conquer got higher marks for its ability to handle speed, and not get sketchy. In other words, it never made me feel like I was pushing it too far.

The lottas may have better float in the powder, but I didn't ski them in powder. The only area where I felt like I needed more ski was at speed and when I really drove it like I MEANT it!!

Hmmm, I have a different assessment of the Lotta Luv's and speed. I am 5'1 and a 100 lbs. On my Volkl's I couldn't hold speed and my guy friends were constantly waiting for me. On my Lotta Luv's I'm often waiting for the guys.

For me, they are a very versatile ski, bumps, light powder, groomed, trees, all over the mtn. Park, if you want according to the guy in the ski shop at Copper. He said you can beat them to death and they won't fall apart.

Right now the Lotta Luv's are my speed machine, along with well rounded turns, as well as bumps, trees and light powder.

Little lightening, how new are your lottas?
Those I skied were 05's(?) I understand they may have changed significantly since then.
