Hi all!
I had a good time reading back through my Loon thread for last season...until it was tragically cut short. I was able to skin up Loon two days in April...one was a pow day (and my birthday!!!) and the other day was warm weather with soft corn.
I thought I'd start another 2020/2021 thread for people to check out!
So far, I am 8 days in on my pass. My last day I went skiing was 1/18/2021...we had a strange but great powder day! Loon claimed 7'' over the holiday weekend, but I and my girl gang weren't buying it. That said, under the soft snow was some icier conditions, I'm guessing from the rain.
Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised with how well Loon has recovered and made snow. A good chunk of the trails are open now, but...death cookies on the man-made snow isn't fun! Mask usage is WIDESPREAD and they are ENFORCING it well! Mine fell down as I solo rode the Gondola and he immediately pointed to his and I mouthed "I'M SORRY!"
