Looking for Reccos on True 3 Finger Mittens (No Finger Separators!)

Posted this on reddit, but think I may have better luck here

I'm looking for a true three-finger mitten with one big pocket vs finger separators in the mitten portion. I have the Black Diamond Spark Angel Finger Mitts, which are perfect, but I need a backup. Most options separate the fingers, which defeats the purpose since I rely on the mitten section to keep my fingers together for extra warmth. I also have the Oyuki Chika GORE-TEX Trigger Mitten & the Helly Hansen ULLR D 3 Fingers Gloves. Both of these separate the fingers :/

If anyone has any recommendations-- I'd greatly appreciate it! I saw a lot of love for Free the Powder 3 finger mitt, but would love some others. Thank you so much!

I've been using the Hestra lobster claw mitts for quite a few years. When it's really cold, I have the heated glove liners by Hestra. Those have separate fingers with wires in each of the figures, including the thumb. I have the Heli Ski Female version.

Now is a good time to look around for sales of gloves/mittens.

Thank you! I know technically the Heli Ski is not waterproof, but do you find they held up OK on snowy days?

They do fine. They come with a packet of Hestra waterproofing gel that I treat them with at the beginning of the winter. Nikwax has a treatment for material that isn't leather that was done at their booth at Snowbound Expo in 2023.

Just used them during two snowstorms in Idaho. Relatively wet snow. My hands weren't damp from the outside because the liners never got damp even though the leather got damp in the afternoon. It was warm enough on the lower mountain at Tamarack that the snow coming down was "wet."

That’s my experience with Hestra gloves and mittens as well. We have used the Hestra supplied stuff, Snow Seal, and a mink oil / wax - reapplied a few times during the season. My first pair of Hestras lasted 12 years. I replaced them because they started looking kinda awful. I did replace the liners once. I ski between 50-75 days a season. Bomb proof.
