Looking for a new ski jacket and mittens

My old jacket just got ripped and I'm looking to buy a new ski jacket. I was wondering which brands tend to run smaller in sizes. I'm 5'0, 105 lbs and most women's jackets I've tried so far (even in XS) still seem loose in the body and long in the sleeves. I've also tried kids' jackets (size 10-12), but the sleeves tend to be too short and the technology seems not as advanced as the adult versions. Any recommendations?

I'm also looking to buy new mittens and will also get glove liners to go with them. Looking for something really warm (I don't use hand warmers) but still easy to maneuver my poles with. I also have small hands so a M/L kids mitten will also fit me. Thanks!

Krystle, I thik that Spyder jackets tend to run a little on the smaller and fem flattering side. I bought one in size 8, and usually wear a 6 in pants, S/M in tops...fits like a North Face small. I'm not sure how low their sizes go, but that might be a brand to check out for more petite people.

I'm pretty small as well (especially on top) and I have a Lole jacket that fits really well. My previous ski jackets have swallowed me even in a small but Lole jackets seem to be cut a bit slimer than most.

I thinkI tried on a Rossi jacket at a Lord and Taylor once and that seemed to run small as well...medium was too small for me, especially in the hips.

Yeah, Spyder definitely runs small. My jacket is a 12, and while it may be a little bit big, is not huge on me. I typically wear a 4-6 or XS/S on top!

Nils Skiwear has some styles in petites sizing as well as regular, and also runs small in its regular sized garments.
