Limerick Builder!

I'm going to steal this from Snowheads and Epic:

It's a limerick builder. You post one line then the next person post the next line, and after 5 posters, there's a limerick. Then someone else starts another one.

I'll begin:

A pretty young Diva who skied

 

[Native Vail Gal]

And a Fabulous Skier indeed!

 

[SnowHot]

was waiting for snow

 

[SnowFalcon]

So up to the sky she prayed.

She's no longer a skier in need!

We kind of got out of the rhyme scheme on that one.

Here's a classic limerick, just so ya know:

A flea and a fly in a flue
Were caught, so what could they do?
Said the fly, "Let us flee."
"Let us fly," said the flea.
So they flew through a flaw in the flue.

Enuf of the English lesson.

Here's another start:

One day as I sat on the lift

I saw a donkey walking on a cliff

I said, "Hey! Silly A$$!"

How's it look on the Pass?
And he said, "It's all snow...you catch my drift?"

(I just had to finish that one!) :D

The day that I clicked on my skis,

I had godawful pain in my knees.

So it was no surprise,

When the sound of my cries

Glided across the sky as I left to look for some aspirin.

New one:

One day I climbed up a tree

And the silliest sight I did see...

'Twas a Dog on Skis!

With snow up to his knees,

As he headed downhill howling "wheeeeee!"
