To all my fellow ski divas (and ski divas in training):

It has come to my attention (by someone who shall remain nameless), that I do not refer to my husbank . . . . um, I mean husband - by his name. I only refer to him as, my husband. Now my huband seems to think this makes him sound like an appendage in our relationship instead of a partner (yeah right ;) ).

So I am here to publically state that, yes, I have been married for 20+ years to Phil Pugliese (who some of you may know from such awesome websites as Epic Ski - Barking Bears, the Lehigh Valley Miata Owners Club, Triple Zoom, DVD Talk, Car Domain, VW Votex, Swede Speed, NASTAR.com . . . Just to name a few).

It appears that Phil has also been trying to sign onto this sight using the name of Philomena (right SnowHot?). He has been lurking and reading the posts. Unfortunately, he is not a ski diva.

So let's hear from everyone who knows and loves Phil. Let's tell him how great he is! Let's thank him for supporting us! Let's do whatever it takes . . . to stop the pouting . . . :D

Just kidding - You know I love you Phil. And now you have a public record!

Of course Phil is reading this site! He wants it to be really successful so that the women in his family will get as hooked as he is on a skiing community. So he wants a little pat for all his support. That said, I have learned over 20+ years as his mother-in-law to simply say," Phil was right."

I was hoping to get the divas together to pull a prank on him, but I doubt anything could stump him like the time sno'more(epicski) and I out bid him on an SOS ski suit on Ebay, and then sent it to him. The whole time the bidding was going on, he was IM'ing me about trying to find this "honeydipper" and, in his words......."It better not be a bear!"
Ah........thinking about it still makes me smile:D

On one hand it might seem a nice idea to add men to the membership list. On the other hand, it would make this forum no different than others.

I agree. While there's little we can really do to keep men out, I think the whole purpose of this forum is to give women skiers a chance to connect with one another and to have a comfortable, male-free environment in which to talk about skiing in a way that makes sense to us. They own the rest of the ski world. Can't we have this one little piece?

So lurk all you want, Philomena (and any other guys, too)! Maybe you'll learn something! :D

Oh my gosh ! Although I may never find the clues for the sports tube, it has been worth it to find the Philomena Phylis thread !

Lola & Lilgeorg , can't wait for Solitude. Meeting your whole family will take 20 years off my cynical attitude ! I'm sure ya'll keep us smiling & laughing with your awesome humor & personalities.

I will tell that when moronedge added the Krypton photos to his signature on Epic, I sent him a pm asking where the pretty blue storm photo was. He added it within 60 seconds. Cool . He wouldn't wanna leave us girls out. I love the way he so very publicly announced his Diva week at Solitude on Epic. The only non-flexible part of his Wild West trip ! Love it! So, if his flight to SF goes over Tahoe on a clear day, the drool will fall in my pasture. He'll have to hit Tahoe 1 day at least.
